The tungsten-rhenium alloy is a solid solution-strengthened alloy composed of a tungsten element and a cerium element.The cerium content (mass fraction, %) commonly used in alloys is 3, 5, 10, 25 and 26. Low content of W-Re alloy (Re ≤ 5%) and high content of W-Re alloy (Re ≥ 15%).
The main processed materials of tungsten-rhenium alloy are wire and sheet. Silk is the majority. Mainly used as high temperature structural materials.
Tungsten-rhenium alloy has better mechanical properties and ductility than pure tungsten, and has high electrical resistivity, so it has good processability and weldability. A tungsten-rhenium alloy containing 3% can be used as a core metal for the tube filament, the grid wire, and the direct heating cathode.
The antimony-containing tungsten-rhenium alloy, that is, the antimony-tungsten-rhenium alloy, is used as a direct-heating cathode of a large-sized launch tube, and its performance is better than that of a tantalum-tungsten cathode, and it is not easily deformed at a high temperature.

Application of Tungsten Rhenium Rod:
Because of its superior high-temperature performance, tungsten-rhenium alloy can be applied in the parts used in high-temperature areas and temperature measurement applications, mainly including:
1)Aerospace: Tungsten-rhenium alloys are applied in high-temperature aviation and aerospace parts and temperature measurement systems.
Semiconductor industry: Due to its superior physical properties, tungsten-rhenium alloy is used in the high temperature equipment parts for the semiconductor industry, such as heating equipment and temperature measurement equipment, etc.

Condition of Tungsten Rhenium Rod:
WRe is applied to 9~2300℃ temperature in vacuum, incert and reducing atmosphere, and also used as molten steel rapid temperature measurement probe. Anti oxidation WRe thermocouple replacing Pt Rh thermocouple, the application is extremely broad.
